The Round

The Round is a reflective golf app concept focused on decision-making rather than mechanics. I created the brand and designed the app in response to how most golf technology prioritizes data volume over insight. Instead of tracking every shot or chasing technical perfection, The Round encourages players to set intention, reflect after each round, and recognize the patterns that actually shape their scores.

The branding is intentionally restrained, avoiding common golf tropes in favor of a calm, editorial aesthetic. I designed the interface alongside the brand system, prioritizing clarity and focus through minimal typography, high contrast, and quiet motion to reduce noise and cognitive load.

The imperfect circle mark reflects the cyclical, imperfect nature of the game — echoing both the rhythm of each round and the familiar shape of a golf green, reinforcing the app’s focus on awareness over perfection.
